Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long are the rental time frames?
A: Wedding /Ceremony (10am - 10pm)  / Intimate Events (total of 4 hours) See THE DETAILS page for more information. 

 

Q: What are your prices?

A: We do ask that you first visit Promise Manor before discussing all pricing details. Since Promise Manor is a unique venue, we want to make sure we understand of your needs prior to booking an event. 

Q: How do I inquire about a date for my event?

A: If you would like to see if a particular date is open for your event please visit the CONTACT page and we will get back with you soon. 

 

Q: What is included in your packages?

Q: What are your floral packages? 

A: If you would like to inquire about florals for a particular event we will provide you with a questionnaire upon booking. Once we can determine your needs, we will send you a quote based on the information provided. 

Q: What does Promise Manor's set-up and tear-down entail? 
A: We will set up and tear down all tables, chairs & linens provided by us. We will also remove all trash that has been properly bagged up for disposal. 

Q: Can I add my own decorations at Promise Manor?
A: When designing Promise Manor we wanted our guest to feel at home, therefore we kept with the historical theme of the home. With that in mind, we don't suggest a lot of décor for intimate events due to the fact that it will take away from the historical value. We do not allow tape, tacks or nails on the walls or mantles. If you need suggestions for table or mantle décor we are always happy to help - we offer floral packages as well! 

Q: Does Promise Manor  have a curfew?
A: Yes, we do ask that all guest are off the property by 10pm. 

Q: What if the weather does not allow for an outdoor ceremony?
A: For parties of 50 or more, we highly suggest renting a tent to provide adequate covered space for guests. 

Q: When do we have to remove everything from Promise Manor?
A: For intimate events we do require all items to be removed at the end of the four hours. For weddings we do know that in some cases tents, table rentals & chair rentals may require additional time - you will have until 10am the following morning to have those items removed.


Q: What is Promise Manor's max capacity?
A: Indoors: Up to 50 guest between the Swanton Parlor  ( (4) 60" round tables) and Evans Dining Room ( (2) 10ft oak farmhouse tables)

Outdoors: Up to 100 guest will comfortably fit within the ceremony and reception areas.

Q: How many people comfortably fit at a 60" round table?

 A: 8 Adults

Q: Can I hire a caterer outside the vendor list on Promise Manor's preferred vendors list?
A: Yes, but we do require that vendor to provide us with proper licensing and insurance.
